A variant of stirfry, just easier. I keep enough water in the pan to steam-cook the veggies.
End-product looks good enough to eat. Savory And Sweet. Topped with sliced almonds and shredded ceddar.
Assemble the troops. Oil, onion, garlic, pineapple, carrots, broccoli, green beans celery, tomato sauce, italian seasoning, sunflower seeds, etc. Whatever I have around.
Decide who goes first.
BetterHalf doesn't like celery so Large pieces are used that can be avoided. They get added at the beginning. Smaller and/or quicker cooking veggies added at the end.
A tight lid keeps the steam from escaping.
Italian tomato sauce and cooked chicken go in to simmer for a few minutes. Sometimes I use peanuts or cashews.
